Cash donations to people in need
CroMiDo steps in to help out. We use mobile technology to create transparency, allowing you to donate small sums directly to the people who need it most. With one click you can make someone’s day on the other side of the world!
We are currently in the initial start-up phase of our non-profit organisation. We are looking for partnerships and are working on raising more funds. Do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you believe you can help us with your expertise and feel free to contact us if you have questions regarding the project.
Help us help people, one donation at a time!
We want to contribute to reducing world poverty.
We like to aim high, but our idea is based entirely on existing technologies. The popularity of mobile money transfers in Africa is the cornerstone of CroMiDo‘s success.
CroMiDo was the winner of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University’s 2012 I WILL award. This award came with €15,000 of seed money. The award money will entirely go towards the realization of the project.
You too can help. Learn how to get involved or consider making a donation that will help us realise our vision.
Mobile banking systems have tens of millions subscribers in Kenya alone, giving their users access to banking services for the first time in their life. M-Pesa is very popular among CroMiDo‘s target demographic. It provides a mobile payment tool that is safe, with very low access barriers, and is extremely simple to use.
Market penetration of mobile banking systems in Africa far exceeds that of similar systems in traditional, developed markets.
The system is simple, immediate, and transparent and can be used to pay electricity or water bills.

All donations, small and big, will help us realise our vision. Please note that it is not possible at this stage to donate to people in Africa. Your donations will be used to set up our platform and enable small cash transactions to people in need as soon as possible.
We’re here for you, and we’re wearing our thinking caps.
